                                                       PRODUCTION GRANT DEADLINE: JULY 18TH, 2018

 

The Gene Siskel Film Center has opened up entries for their 24th annual Black Harvest Film Festival, Chicago’s annual film festival focusing and featuring films investigating African-American, Black, and Afro-disaporic experience and identity. Deadlines are approaching! The deadline for entries is June 8th, next month! For more information, click HERE!

In addition to seeking entries for their festival this summer, the Gene Siskel is also giving out 5 production grants to commission African-American/black artists residing in the midwest, including the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, to produce work to be premiered at their 25th anniversary of the Black Harvest Film Festival in 2019.
